G-120X Adapter (CPL type)
The adapters for the G-120X filter holder allow you to attach the holder to your lens (or several lenses). The "CPL" type adapter has front threads, allowing a round filter (such as circular polarizer) to be screwed into the front of the adapter. This can allow the use of a round filter in addition to 1, 2 or 3 slide-in filters at the same time. Progrey CPL adapters have a very narrow profile which minimizes the possibility of vignetting with extreme wide angle lenses.
A unique feature of Progrey CPL adapters is the sliding window design. This allows easy adjustment (rotating) of a circular polarizer from behind the camera - even when slide-in filters are attached! The sliding windows close completely to eliminate any possibility of light leaks from behind.
Progrey filter holders and adapters are machined to tight tolerances using extremely lightweight, ultra-hard aerospace aluminum and anodized to an elegant, flat black finish to eliminate unwanted flare and reflections.
To select the proper adapter size, choose from the drop-down list. The number immediately after "cpl" indicates the front thread size for round screw-in filters. The last number indicates your lens thread size (most important). For example: If you want to use your G-120X holder on a Nikon 24-70 zoom lens (which has a thread size of 77mm), you would select either the "cpl82-77mm X" (if you want the ability to screw-in an 82mm round filter) or the "77mm X slim" adapter (if you do not need the front threads that the cpl style adapters provide).
