About Carlos Resende

Carlos Resende is a photographer based in Portugal who was attracted by the art of landscape photography. Making photography more than a hobby he tries to enjoy and take from it all the pleasure found at the moment of capture.

Maybe that's why he chooses to see and capture images in places or times of day that carries us into parallel universes, evoking a sense of calm and tranquility in opposition to our “crazy” daily routine.

Completely self-taught and in a continuous learning curve that he doesn't want to see end, he searches daily to discover new universes through photography.

A regular Getty Images contributor, his work has been featured in international photography magazines like Digital Camera World, Photography Week and LeNs, as well as websites like Fstppers.com or thedphoto.com. He received awards in ND Photography (2014), Landscape Winner in Cinclus Fest (2016) and a Landscape Finalist and World Champion as a member of the Portuguese team in the World Photography Cup 2017.
