About Stuart McGlennon
Stuart McGlennon is based in the Lake District National Park in the UK, where his main focus is the mountainous landscape which is fortunately very close to his home.
Stuart developed a passion for Landscape Photography firstly as a way to relieve pressure from quite a stressful home life, and also because of his inquisitive nature to go and explore the fantastic Lake District National Park, which for many years when he was young he didn't spend enough time around. Stuart says "It really is a fantastic place to call home and attracts tourists from all over the world all year round. It really is a Landscape Photographer's dream."
Stuart McGlennon feels at home shooting all manner of subjects in the landscape - he simply loves being out in it, whether it's Mountains, Woodland, Lakes, or Rivers. He loves the challenge of always trying to find a new perspective on a subject, something which is at the core of his photographic aims.
Stuart has been fortunate enough to be commended in both 2016 and 2017 in Outdoor Photographer Of The Year, Volumes 1 and 2, as well as having Outdoor Photography's front cover in November and also being published in other major photography publications. Mr. McGlennon currently runs 1-to-1 workshops around the Lake District and has recently opened a prestigious gallery of his fine prints.
